Due to popular demand for an air cleaner that looks like a piece of furniture so it would blend in to your home or office, Pyramid recently began offering an EZ Air HEPA air cleaner out of furniture grade solid wood in addition to the standard powder coated steel units. The EZ Air Solid Wood Select is not cheap pressboard covered with veneer, but a solid oak system that looks like a piece of fine furniture instead of an allergy product. Many customers use them as end tables in their living rooms! Standard colors of Golden Oak, Special Walnut, or Brown Mahogany will match most interior furnishings, but if you want a special color to match your furniture Pyramid can custom color your EZ Air solid wood Select as well.
All EZ Air HEPA air cleaners come with a full five (5) year limited factory warranty.

TECHNOLOGY in EZ Air Activated Carbon Prefilter Packs: These dual-purpose filters take out larger dust and particulate to protect the HEPA filter, but they also contain 3 1/2 lbs. of activated carbon and zeolite to remove harmful odors, chemicals, gases, and VOCs. A typical year’s supply of filters (three) is included with every EZ Air unit. Because the Prefilter Packs should be changed every 3-6 months, EZ Air always operates at peak odor/chemical adsorption efficiency, as the carbon can be changed as soon as it becomes saturated/filled with odors. And the Prefilter Packs are priced reasonably to encourage regular replacement; to ensure that the air you breathe is free from harmful contaminants. Certified HEPA Filtration: EZ Air contains actual hospital grade individually tested and certified HEPA filters tested and guaranteed to be 99.99% at .3 microns. These are not misleading “Bio-HEPA” or “HEPA-like” filters! They are TRUE HEPA FILTERS and EZ Air’s are often used in hospitals, laboratories and clean room environments. Because the HEPA filters are mechanically sealed within the cabinet to prevent air bypass, EZ Air operates at TRUE HEPA efficiency. Separate Carbon and HEPA filters: Because carbon adsorbs odors and chemicals like a sponge, no matter how much carbon is in the filter, it will always saturate and needs to be replaced more often than the HEPA filter. If you do not replace a saturated carbon filter, the carbon will actually expel or “out-gas” trapped odors and chemicals. So by having independent HEPA and carbon filters, you do not need to pay to replace both technologies when only one needs to be replaced, greatly reducing maintenance costs for the life of the air cleaner.The EZ Air Produces No Ozone! Effective Air Flow Pattern: Besides technology used, airflow pattern is the most important attribute of any air cleaner. The airflow pattern created by EZ AIR is designed to produce an excellent mixing factor so the EZ Air will clean all parts of the room. Dirty air is drawn in through the top of the unit through three intake vents. This allows for the most efficient removal of contaminated air from the normal breathing zone (3-6 feet high), as the dirty air has easy and direct access to the unit’s air intake. Air then passes through the four stages of filtration before being exhausted out of the lower portion of the unit from three sides to all parts of the room. Unlike some air cleaners that unsuccessfully try to maneuver dirty air from the room via clean air exhaust, EZ AIR actively and aggressively removes or “vacuums” dirty air from the normal breathing zone.
